SF Reconnect
“Reconnect” is a very corporate word for “hung out with my kid in the city we both live in,” but with the kitchen gone, even that took some planning. Vanya and I figured the fastest way back to normal life was somewhere with a stove that wasn’t ours.
Nidhi Turns 50
Now it was Nidhi’s turn to be pampered - turning 50 apparently buys you a say in the itinerary, and she wanted a picnic in V. Sattui, a winery in Napa.
Eleven bottles between the group - not a typo, we checked the receipt twice - followed by coffee, on the theory that caffeine cancels out wine. Nobody could defend the math, but everyone got home fine.
Delightful Treats
Another nice haunt in our kitchen-less days turned out to be a new meditteranean place: Meza. Exotic decor, small portions, and yummy food - whats not to like?
Malibu Farm in Tiburon turned out to be a rarer gem still - skeptical about avocado on pizza going in, evangelists coming out.
We rounded out February by spending the rest of the day in Mill Valley.
