Moving to a new house can be surprisingly disruptive and challenging, even if you spend more than a month preparing for the move. In our case, it took us four days to complete the end-to-end move, despite all the preparations.

We finally moved in on Saturday and spent the whole day setting up the new kitchen. Vanya cooked our first supper in our new home, which was Tacos with a delicious dessert.

The Tacos were made with small flour tortillas and various condiments, including eggs, Masala burger patties, green onions, roasted shishito peppers, Sriracha, and Kewpie mayonnaise. Nidhi & I enjoyed the meal, as shown in the picture.

The end result was yummy!

For dessert, Vanya prepared a simple and healthy take on baklava. She mixed Greek yogurt with honey bunches of oats cereal and added a small dollop of honey. She also added sweet and crispy muscat grapes for extra flavor. The dessert was very satisfying, as shown in the picture.

The meal was a great start to our new home. After dinner, we chatted and listened to some music in our living room before taking a peaceful evening stroll in the neighborhood.
