I am thankful for the chance to contribute to BD Incada and the Pro Analytics launch. I’m grateful to have helped architect, design, drive, and deliver two BD Incada platform capabilities that will matter for BD customers for years: data visualization for analytics and identity and access management.

Figure 1: Night sojourn at La Jolla shores!
This was a real journey: often ambiguous, sometimes messy, and always requiring hard decisions. We began with open questions about scope and direction, navigated competing priorities, and made countless small tradeoffs that added up. The collaboration across architects, engineers, product management, project managers, and business partners combined with mentorship, guidance, and candid feedback, helped turn ideas into design, code, tests, and reliable operations. I’m grateful for the empathetic and candid pact team (shoutout to Catalytics! meow 😻) that made it safe to discuss stressful situations and feel supported. Even in the platform’s infancy we took dramatic twists and turns, and those moments demanded clarity, boldness, grit, and teamwork.

Some of my fondest memories came from meeting the team in person in San Diego: white-boarding and brainstorming until late, brisk walks from the hotel to the office, late-night visit to the beaches, hanging out in dinners with everyone, the magnificent & dramatic Torrey Pine views, vegetarian sushi, and of course the delicious snack bites next to the admin cubicles! Those moments of camaraderie made the hard work feel joyful.

I have full confidence in the talented, driven STS team to take BD Incada to the next level. I’ll be cheering them on!
